DANIEL BUM CV<\/b><\/p>

Daniel Bum develops his pictorial work within the field of new figuration, with a na\u00efve aesthetic and a recognizable visual universe that emerges from an invented sense of everyday life.<\/p>

His works do not depict real scenes; instead, they reformulate lived experiences, emotions, and thoughts through a direct visual narrative in which memory blends with the symbolic and the fictional.<\/p>

His canvases often feature frontal figures, frequently solitary, with an almost vacant gaze. These characters, marked by subtle gestures and a vulnerable appearance, convey an ambiguous sensation: they seem approachable, almost gentle, yet something in their presence resists an easy reading.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

It is within this tension between the na\u00efve and the unsettling that the strength of his painting resides.<\/p>
